OfflineJust a note of thanks to the wonderful ice crew at the 08 World Men's. Hans & Mark had 18 guys that worked their collective butt's off for 2 weeks, provided as good of ice as I haev ever played on (yes,I threw rocks most nights!). Through it all, they never stopped having fun. Guy Beriault (Ice Master) bought the boys custom jackets: they looked the part of a professional crew (thanks Guy!). One of the crew (Dick) served as chef, and cooked some of the finest meals anyone ate anywhere in our area had over the 2 weeks.
About 1/3 of this crew started working under Hans and Mark at the 2001 Forks Classic, and contiued for the last 7 years working many events under Mark. One of the originals - Garland Leagcie - is now the Head Ice Technician for the USCA!

Thanks Donny. I appreciate your thanks and also your support the last 6+ years. We did have a good time, although I don't think George would say so! Dick can cook anything on a grill and Mark, Hans and the rest of the crew were great to work with.

A great big thank you also to the regular staff of the REA, they really made us feel welcome and did whatever was necessary to make our jobs easier. Butch and his crew didn't balk or squawk at our being in their house. (we tried to wipe our shoes). It was a great experience for those of us who are new at the big show.
