Just got back from the Thrifty at Plainfield. Got to play on Sunday at least this year. Bit of problem on the team as my knees were still aching from the club playdowns and Mrs. JHcurl has been having back problems. So, two people who can't sweep but we held our own anyway. Lots of karaoke on Saturday night and at least this year we didnt get "fleeced". The entire pipe band didn't show up this year either so that was better, only 4 pipers I think in a really small room, oh yeah, and 4 drummers.

The Club National playdowns were held at Nutmeg this past weekend. Congrats to team Meechai for winning and team Drummie for getting the second spot on the Women's side.

On the Men's side congrats to Chris, Mike, Ron and Michael of team Faircloth for surviving a double tiebreaker to win the spot. This is 3 players from the team that went last year with Chris being the new addition at skip.
