I am a tuck slider where I raise the back of his foot while I slide out towards the broom. My slider is a brick slider. Recently it has been scratching the ice. My shoes are fairly old and probably need to be replaced. However, I am wondering if there is anything I can do to possibly round out some of the rough edges on my slider. I talked to a couple people at my local club and they believe that I can use medium gritt sandpaper to smooth it out. Then follow it up with a high gritt sandpaper to make it smooth. What do you guys think about this idea and does anyone have any tips or tricks I can use?
